Default Gotta love a shaky head

I fished JPP some more today on my boat. I fished a rattle trap in a number of areas before I broke down and threw a Go 2 Baits shaky head. I hung this 4 pounder on the second cast. It almost felt like I was reeling up a limp at first.

Very nice fish, good to see you are getting a chance to break the new boat in right.

A shaky head has been my go to bait lately. If I'm fishing for active schools feeding on shad, then a square bill has been the ticket. If I'm fishing and isolated cover or inactive schools then the shaky head has been deadly. Caught this one last week on a shaky head.

I don't just use them I make them too. I love the wide gap hook but I have found it's so easy for that big bass to throw that shaky head once it starts jumping. I have lost Baba bass three times do to jumping and throwing it back at me but that's OK I will get it again next year. I like using the 8' rage tail worm and I found that if you put a O-ring on it where you put the hook in it it will last a lot longer casting it and the bass love the june bug color....................woody

Thanks guys! I have really found that the Go 2 Baits shaky worms work the best with a smaller finesse type jighead. They float like crazy, so that means fish cannot lose it between the rocks and brush. Plus they are super durable.
