Default Old Hickory Tailwater

I was thinking about driving up to Old Hickory Tailwater and throwing for a while. Just checking to see if anyone has had any luck, or any help one can offer. Thanks everyone and have a blessed day.

I've always used a 1/4 ounce jighead with a white grub to catch sauger, walleye, striped bass, and smallmouth down there..

Are you fishing just below the Dam or down river?

Bucktails with a grub work well in the generation, grubs on a jig head as well as live bait on or off the bottom.

If you are fishing downstream, hit the bends, bridges and creek mouths with craw imitations or red shad colored worms.

Cranks/spinner baits are good down bumpin around the rocks but right now fish slow near current breaks. Did I mention bridges yet?
