Default JJP long lining for crappie

Got out the 4th from 5:00 till 10;00 on Priest. I long lined hot grubs in Popsicle, black/chart and pink/chart with two 1/16 oz pink jig heads each rod. Trolled in 14 to 16 fow at .8 mph, mid lake, put 10 in the well largest being 13.5", threw back about half a dozen. Also hit some pockets of stripe and hybrid, they can make a mess of the lines without fish, but a lot of fun on 12 foot poles, spent some time cutting and re rigging, lucky I had a dozen double jig set ups pre made on Rigraps, very handy to say the least, saved me a lot of time. Also caught a couple catfish, stayed till the ski boats and jet skies started coming out then I was out of there. Water temps were in the mid 80's. September can't get here soon enough for me.

Good luck to all
Ray
