Default Percy Priest Crappie Troll

Hit up Priest yesterday afternoon for a first of the season crappie troll. Fished mid lake trolling 300 series bandits in 16-20 fow. Water temp was 78 and the bait was very scattered. I usually don't really start catching them well until mid June into July and August but it was fun to just get out and give it a shot.

Only caught 5 but they were all keepers with the smallest at 10.5 and the largest at 13.75. Hopefully it will improve in the coming weeks. It was nice to start replenishing the freezer!

We've been catching some nice sized crappie, 13-14 inchers, while trolling A-Rigs for hybrids.
Most of them have come on a single Big Bite cane thumper (3.5 inch white) trolled on a #1 tadpole (TM) at 60' behind the boat, 1.5 MPH.
