Default Major Damage

I have several friends with boats docked in and around Nashville but haven't heard anyone with similar problems.

Anyone seen this kind of damage here?

Wow that Saturday Ice must have been the last straw we just have not had a lot of snow in so many years the structures were not ready for the weight.

I hope they had boaters insurance.

The boater's insurances won't have to cover it. The marina is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of their docks, roofs and all.

Marina is liable for all of the damaged boats.

There was a news blip on the 11pm news last night and the reporter made the comment that the boat owners were insured (but probably not all or in sufficient amounts) as was the marina. Will probably be some lawsuits over this, so the lawyers are happy. No one will win except for the lawyers.
