Old hick 2/15
Fished the tournament out of Saunders ferry park this morning. Deezlteck and I caught a ton of fish today, most were 13-13 3/4”. But we did manage five decent old hick keeper bass. Caught them on square bills, jerk baits, spinnerbaits, Tx rigged lizards and shakey heads with a four inch worms. Lake was changing all day, water rose about a foot while out there, if not more.
Guys it’s about to blow wide open, so get out there and fish as much as you can!!!

What sort of temps did you find? I’m dropping off my Stratos at Riverside Marine on Tuesday for an Evinrude re-power to a 150 HO E-tec G2. Then headed to Austin TX Wednesday morning to see my grandkids. When I get back on Sunday and pick up my boat on Monday I’ll be balls out so if you see a red, black and silver Stratos with a red, black and silver E-Tec G2 anywhere on OHL come on over and say hello.

Water was clear this morning and got dirtier and higher as the day went on. Temps were 55-60 all day.
Congrats on the new power plant!! Those are awesome engines from what I have heard! Why the change??

Well done guys! My rig has been in shop for last 3 weeks. Reading the board post is torture, but I can't stay away. I can't wait to get back out there.

Two weekends ago, 17lbs won it with 3 fish!!!! This weekend the winner only had 2 fish but he had the right ones. Big fish was 6.30. It had to have come from lower end of lake as the tail was beat up and bloody. We didn’t see any beds yesterday, but catch fish up shallow later in the day in the warmer water.

Tournament schedule if any of you guys want to get in on it. Make sure you are there early, safe light means as soon as you can see 100yds in down the lake to them. Lol.
