JPP Crappie?

Anyone been out catching them? Got the new trolling motor on the boat and plan on going Saturday. Figure I will ride around scanning brush and trees heading back into the creeks and pockets.

Look at "briancarper.com" website. He is a fishing guide there and he gives some details of depth they are catching them.

I haven’t been Crappie fishing this year yet. So keep reports coming and I will post when I go in December. What kind of trolling motor did you go with?

I have a 55 pound Ipilot. That was first time we been on priest since spring so I felt good about coming home with 10

I've got a good friend who gave me a Fortrex 101 to use until my Ghost comes in. I had to do some moving around in the back to get the extra battery to fit to use the 36 volt but I would have had to do that with the Ghost too so it worked out.

With a 101 pound wind should not be a problem...lol

Correct. A 19' boat does not really need anything that big but I ran one of my last stratos and it was 19' too and it was really nice to have.

If I ever upgrade I will probably go to a 24 volt
