I had about the same luck this morning. Biggest was 12 lb., a ten, an eight, two fives and a bunch of twos. I fished cut skipjack ( about 3/4 inch chunks, not very big pieces at all) on noodles below Mansker's Creek while they were generating this morning. I lost two noodles, One went down and I never saw it again even though I was in the area for two hours.
Then I lost another one between the ramp and the barge slip. I found it two hours later (I didn't, some young guys fishing up by the dam found it and called me and I went and retrieved it from them, very nice guys). It had a broken line. I am beefing up my noodles tonight by cutting another noodle and taping two together. Gonna make them work a little harder at staying under. We also have some 1/2 gallon milk jugs, thinking about using them.
Fishing 10-11 ft deep seemed to work the best for me, keeping the sinker out of the rocks on the bottom so I wasn't always chasing back upstream to get them unsnagged and moving.

we caught 16 cats, juggin it below OH dam in the Cumberland river. It was a pretty slow day today. Seemed like a great day starting out, but it slowed after 8 AM.
We used cut up skipjack, small chunks (3/4 inch squares) fished about ten ft deep no matter what the river depth.

Poindexter's has skipjack from time to time. I'd call ahead and check on whether they have any. If they're out of skipjack, they usually do have cut shad, which is almost as good.

Me and my fishing buddy did pretty good this Saturday over in Hartsville @ Goose Creek..Caught 4 nice flatheads, 3 of them were in the 15 lb range with the biggest going 25 lbs and 2 nice channel cats that were 8-10 lbs..Caught the channels on cut skipjack and the flatheads on bream..All were CPRed though so none in the freezer..
