Default Oakley big bass on G'ville

Well, looks like i am going to get a chance to go back this year and fish the Oakley big bass on Guntersville. I was worried that I was going to have to miss it but I think money will be good so I can go. I am going to be flying solo because my partner is taking his boat and another guy this year. I am excited, I will get down there on the 17th to pre fish and hopefully I can make more money than I did last year. Best part is the weigh in is actually smack dab in the middle of where I love to fish so I won't have to run very far to fish any of my spots.

That is great news, Juice.

Sure hope to see you in the winners circle.

I'll bet me and you teamed together could win for sure.

That's a no brainer..... you might have to fish something heavier than 2 or 6lb test.

I'm going down next weekend and gonna play around on Gville. Never been on the lake. Gonna stay at the state park and run around that area. I'd love to go back the following weekend and fish the tournament. Good luck to ya. I'll let ya know how we do and give you all the info I can.

Oh yeah it gets hammered and still produces amazing fish. Last year the oakley had over 200 boats in it.

Man, that stinks. I am getting excited about going down to fish next week. I have only been a couple times this year so I think I am just going to go with the flow and see what happens.

Are they getting the rain down there that we are getting? It should be cleared up by next week and the fished repositioned. Nothing like good water flow on a river-lake! You should hammer them.

They have got some rain, I don't think as much as us. I'm going to hit a few deeper spots and see if they are stacked up if the current is flowing.
