Default Lock 4

I think I found a piece of the old lock 4. Any ideas?

Judging by your path of travel out then back downstream, I'd say you are in the right area. I haven't seen it on an image that clear. It's a good summer place to fish if you can stay on it. Go downstream by the Dam and check out Lock 3 too.

Both will hold fish.

Probably so ... It is about 5 miles down stream from The 109 Bridge ... and right above the intersection of Station and Spencer Creeks ... Mile marker 237 ... I remember a tow boat pushing a barge with about 1 foot of water from covering the dam in 1957 ... <'TK><

That is the old lock wall. The lock gates are there and so is the lock building just upstream. The base of the dam is still there, but the dam itself is gone.

I posted a good side scan of it a few years ago. Search the posts and you should find it. It will help you understand what you are seeing.
