Default Took a soldier fishing

Took a soldier fishing this morning on Old Hickory, Sgt. George Jones US Amy. I tried real hard to put him on some fish but he no luck. I caught 4 bass with two good size ones. Again with a KVD sexy shad 1.5. I even baited Sarge up with the same lure but it was not his day. I will take him again big time!

Thumbs up

Good on you! Even though he didn't catch any fish, I'm sure he appreciated your company, your generosity, and being able to get out there with you on the water for the day.

I also caught fish on that lure the other day. I have two on poles, one that dives 1 - 3 ft, the other 4 - 8 ft.

Yea, my boat is open to any soldiers that would like to break away and wet a line. I am always amazed how one spot on the boat or one person outfishes everyone else on certain trips, even when everyone is trying to fish the exact same way. Nice catch.
