Default chickamauga dam... white bass help??

I Live in Hixson, TN and fish Chickamauga quite a bit. This spring I am very interested in white bass fishing from the shore. though i do not know specifics on when and where to find them running. I have heard that once you find them you can catch a bunch. I know they are a lot of fun to catch especially on an ultra light rig. anyone know when and where specifics regarding white bass that could throw me a bone or two??
any help would be awesome!!!!
thanks in advance!!

We used to call catch them on creek mouths in the spring on Ky lake. I've also caught bunches on mud banks with down trees on the Cumberland below cheatham dam

Go below the dam there in late February....March. They will be stacked in there...look for cutbacks in the current. They will also be below Nickajack Dam at same time.

Regards

Go as Alpha suggested. Watch other fishermen. They may share their methods. Has worked for me.
