Default tennessee valley authority under fire

What do you think about this article? If they are privatized would this cost us more money? it sounds like their recreation projects could be in jeopardy if privatized. Dunno?

If the sale was made to a private entity, it would be a win-win for the government. They would receive the sale proceeds immediately and then tax the operation into oblivion.

As-is, the TVA ought to be self-sustaining (unlike the US Postal Service) with the ability to generate monthly revenue. I believe that public utilities should remain in the hands of the government to keep safeguards in place for price hikes.
