Default Where to fish on OH Lake

Hello All,

I am fairly new to this site. I normally fish Percy Priest Lake, but as it is 9+ feet above normal pool, I am thinking about fishing OH Lake. I have never fished it before and I was wondering where I should put in, what species is biting, what tactics are generally successful. I live in Smyrna and would like to put in at a ramp that is not too far away. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Get on google maps and check Spencer Creek. This would be the first water you go over on highway 109 heading to Gallatin. There are numerous TWRA stake beds in the cove there at Laguardo and you can purchase minnows at the Homerun market in Laguardo. Hope this helps.

Honestly the lake is on fire right now. Just fish rock banks. Rip rap or chunk rock! Its a great time to fish old hickory. Keep boat in in 6 to 7 feet. Throw bright colors in this dirty water
