Catching one of those things on 16lb line and a heavy action rod is a fun battle. I can't imagine trying to land a 4.5lb smallmouth on the tackle you use. I'm sure everything from the knot up to the handle has to be set up perfect or your in for heartbreak

Thanks for the comments. Yep...it all has to go well or you do get your heart broke. Lot of luck......especially when using the true 2.53 test line.
