Great fish. Thanks for sharing what you caught it on. Best part about this forum is everyone's willingness in helping other anglers.

Thank goodness I didn't have 2# test. I am not good enough to get one in that big. I'm no Alphahawk. I'll stick with 10#.

Hey...you know I was just kidding. That is a beautiful fish....it is a beast. Catching those can become an obsession. I really do not target them with 2# test it is just they hang around the areas I am chasing big bluegills.

Thought I was more familiar with Shutes Branch area. Where is Anderson Road in that area?

Sambolie, This just goes to show how old minds think...Avondale access next to Jack Anderson School across Bluegrass Pkwy from the old Anderson Road on Shutes Branch or lane something. Anderson Road is also a campground on JPP around Hamilton Creek area. Don't even get me started on Sanders Ferry and Saunders Ferry both of which are on OHL.
Sorry for my confusion...and possibly yours additionally.

I occasionally fish Avondale off Shute Lane and Shutes Branch on Saundersville Road. Both on OH but on opposite sides of the lake.
I fish Hamilton Creek on opposite side of Anderson Road Rec area.
I am old and confused most of the time. I do feel better now that you have unconfused me.

Don't get me started on Old Hickory Blvd and Bell road.
