Soft plastic wise it is very hard to beat a small fluke (pearl white or albino weightless skipped along the surface in the riffles/rock areas)

Hardbaits a heddon torpedo in some form of white underbelly (throw is as far ahead of you as can them either rip it back in 3-4" spurts or slowly wake it back). These are for smallies but trout will eat them both as well.

You're welcome on the help. I miss our houses up there and don't get back near often as I should. The fishing can be as great as the mountain scenery. IF you have never been I will pre-warn you.... it seems to be that crowded all the time. Traffic can be a pain in the summer but for the most part it goes along with the trip itself.
