Default Thanksgiving Dinner

I'm not sure who all are single with no place to go, but this yr I'm smoking a 14# butterball on my pellet smoker along with sweet potato pie, dressing and whatever... AND I'm baking one of my special pecan pies.

If you don't have any plans, then you are welcomed. I'm in the Flatrock are... just pm me. I mean I'm fixing this regardless

I'm not a big beer drinker but I have some Mich's in the fridge as well.

That looks interesting, do you split the belly open to flatten out?

It’s called spatchcock. You cut the backbone/spine out of it. Some people even go a step further and cut the breast bone out to make it lay even flatter on the grill.

I wish I had taken a picture of mine this year. I smoked one on a pellet grill too. Creole butter injected and rubbed with a Cajun spice. It was my first one and was delicious!!!
