Default Jpp 2-4-18

Started over where I left off yesterday with more minnows. Got out after the rain about 10:00 and pushed a 1/2 pound of minnows till about 2:00. Caught close to 40 but only 15 keepers out of the bunch. 5 rods kept me to busy I missed a lot of bites.

Pleasure meeting you today, thanks for the help with the truck. I ended up catching 9 keepers in my 2 hours or so. All but 2 were 12" or more and all but 1 had eggs..... I caught another 4 shorts and 3 bass and a blue gill. If I had the rods you did I think I would have caught more. I found mine in about 18' right on the channel edge. By the time I left there was a good amount of current coming down the river. I had to bump my weight up just to keep the minnows straight down. I was pleased with my first trip out in months. It's good to see my winter holes still producing year after year.
