Smile Douglas Lake Fishing

Good afternoon. Hope everyone is having a great Father's Day!

I am in Seveirville until June 24th. Tomorrow, I will be fishing for bass in Douglas Lake - launching out of the Marina.

Any tips? Where to go...lures or patternrs that work best for this Bass Angler from MD?

I see you finally made it down to Douglas Lake.

They are deep and in a full blown summer pattern there now. Fish steep 45 degree banks and secondary points with crankbaits, carolina rigs and chatterbaits.

Also look for schooling bait. The lake is full of 2 inch minnow at the present time.

A lot are fishing at night.

I would stop Bass Pro there by the interstate and ask one of the fishing dept guys. I am sure they will have more information.
