Default Topwater

Got a few over the weekend...all tight to the bank in flooded grass on a topwater....Fishing 2 fow or less

Love that top water bite. Especially when then just just blast it. Sound like a block dropped from a bridge lol

Right where they should be now. I assume that was Old Hickory. Buzz bait that grass or throw a frog in it just before or at daybreak.

Nope it was JPP....Using a popper and buzzbait. The popper took most of the fish and the bigger fish. Oddly enough I didnt get a hit at sunrise. All of them came with the sun high in the sky.

Yup....the lake is still down and areas which are usually under water have grass and stuff growing there. Some of the areas are slowly flooding and the fish were in those areas.If you look at the backround of the first pic you'll see what I mean. I maybe using the wrong term...but its grass to me lol
