Default JPP weekend Crappie

My brother came from Arkansas to to help me chase the Crappie. We fished both days from 9:00 till 3:00. While Saturday was brutal with the cold and wind we spider rigged Suggs Creek and caught 14 slabs, 3 shorts, 1 Hybrid, 1 white.

Sunday stayed in Suggs and not as cold but only landed 8 slabs, 2 shorts, a 19", and 20" Hybrids. Water was 54/55 degrees, we caught them on minnows and jigs tipped with minnows. Water was stained/ muddy.

This weekend was rough for fishing, good to see you were able to pull some nice ones out.

Very nice fish! Now if they would just cooperate and move up shallow so I can put my father in-law on some this Saturday.

Thanks for the report. I was in Suggs Sunday from about 1 to 5 and came up empty handed, but was just nice to get out on the water. Windy, though.
