Default Day on The Caney using Mini Trout Magnets on fly rod

Decided to go to the Caney today and try Trout Magnets Mini T M's on my fly rod.
It took awhile to get back in the groove with fly rod after using a spinning rod for so long but it finally got to working. Did not catch that many, but for the water condition I felt 25 was a good number. I was using white on a small mini jig head.Of the 25,most were browns and three were around 16" to 18".
As were leaving I thought how awesome it was to be on the river and have such good luck.Things change very quickly as I pulled out of Buffalo Valley parking area. My daughter called to say my wife was being rushed to E R. My wife is taking chemo for her cancer and it turned out to be a med reaction which caused this. The doctor seeing her decided to to do a C T scan of her head and neck area to make sure this was not cause and even though this did not cause her problem, she has a blocked artery that needs to be operated on sooner than later. Think the Lord for the C T scan because this could cause a stroke soon. Maybe they can do cancer surgery and this at same time. We are so blessed.
This is the first day I have left her without someone and she said for me to go.

I HATE CANCER!!!! I pray she whips cancer like you did the trout today!
Glad you had a good day fishing!! Fishing has a way of lifting your spirits if you ever feel down, stressed..
