How easy are catfish to catch when they are in their spawning grounds? I could point you to a pocket mid lake on OH that gets full of spawning catfish. If they bite good while spawning it should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Very easy. They tend to be aggressive.

Ok. If you go up river from Flippers. Once you pass the steam plant there will be a boat ramp on the right. Keep going past that boat ramp and the next pocket you come to on the right is the place I'm talking about. Go in the pocket and go left. Go as far back as you can where it starts to get real shallow. The last couple of springs it's been full of catfish right after the bass spawn.
