Default Fished KY Lake Wednesday

So my partner and I went to Ky Lake Wednesday. The forecast was mid 30's in the am and warm up to almost 50 and sunny. Well that didn't exactly happen. We fished from daylight til dark and it never got above the 36 degree mark that it was when we put in. And the sun never came out and the wind never stopped blowing. We never got on the big ones but we did catch quite a few of those famous 2lb Ky lake largemouths. We were catching them in about 5 feet of water in the submerged grass. He was fishing a spinner bait mostly and I was yo yoing a chatterbait. This was my best fish of the day.

Those are the tops of the seats. Most of our fish came around the area where the old grain mill sits in the lake.

That fish looks a lot larger than 2 pounds to me. Guessing from the pic I'd say it pushed 4. Nice fish, way to tough it out in the cold!
