Ruined 2 smart phones over the last couple weeks wading at the Caney..First a galaxy note 5 then a iphone 5.. Got the galaxy s7 which is waterproof..So now I can just put my phone away in a dry box and use my go pro.. And of course video is just way more awesome..I sold my samsung regular camcorder to get the go pro and got a pleasant surprise today when I picked it up and they told me it was on sale and got it for 32 bucks less than what I thought. By the way is there a way to imbed videos here??I tried the search but found nothing on videos..

Cool man. I enjoy making videos almost as much as I enjoy fishing and hunting...almost. You'll have to tinker around with your editing software and realize what looks cheezy and what looks cool. Watch lots of YouTube videos and you'll get some tips. I'm no expert but I think I'm getting a lot better at this so feel free to check out my videos

I've got one in progress of a trip to South Carolina chasing redfish from the kayak, I'm excited about how this one is coming along.

FYI - You can use GoPro Studio to do all your video editing and it's a free download. There is nothing you can't find a tutorial on YouTube or some other resource online for video edits. It's not quite as fancy as some of the software that costs a chunk of money but I guess it depends on how far you want to go with it. Enjoy it!
