Rod was a Tict Ice Cube 6' 9" Mebaru UL with a Daiwa Certate 2004 reel spooled up with SOS 2# test line. Lure was a Bison colored Trout Magnet on a 1/16 ounce ball head jig......I was also using about an 2 foot section of 2# test Phantom fluorocarbon leader. I was using a count down of 30 to get it in the zone. The crappie were from 8 feet deep down to almost 17 feet. I was using the twitch method with a very slow retrieve. Had a ton of fun today. Crappie are not known to be the most fighting fish but using an UL rod...2# test line.....fighting them through the current.....made for a great day. Life is good!
