One word of caution with the hobie pa 12: they aren't great at dealing with a river's conflicting currents. They tend to get spun a lot and aren't as easy to correct as a smaller craft. The hobie pa is better suited for still water fishing. Check out the hobie revolution or possibly the outback. They are both pedal driven and deal with current better, but they aren't as big or stable.
