Good fish Jeff I too love the upper end especially past davies island. The first time i saw all the vegetation and tress growing where they have the lake down, I said that it's going to be some fantastic fishing maybe not the first or second years but those after should be great do to there being so much new structure for the fry and fingerings to hide around there will for sure be a higher survival rate and thus more slab crappie, bass, walleye etc. Other than the few times the hill gets to full pool during the winter and spring I've never seen it or fished it when it's normal so it should only get better definitely a promising look toward the future.
