Sarah and I are in Ft. Lauderdale for a few days. We started off with a Bass Pro Shops stop, and a casino and horse track, this was my first time watching cart racing. It was fun, but a little slow paced for me.
We have a list of places we want to fish. Yesterday we fished a canal system in Miami for whatever. It's hard to target one species when there are so many different kinds of fish. The air temps were 90-91, with 15-20mph winds and 30mph gusts. We fished jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, trout magnets, Rat-L-Traps, lizards, and topwaters. We caught bluegill, chicilds, and peacock bass. I had a pod of 15-20 small tarpon 30"-35" come up within casting distance, but I wasn't ready. We fished until about an hour and a half be
