I primarily fish PP at night. I often fish near some of the ramps and have seen lots of suspicious activity on the shore. I have moved from those spots before because of gunfire on the shore. Most ramps near Cooks, Seven Points, Vivrett Creek, etc. are not patrolled heavily enough to be very secure.
I could name several instances of autos being broken into and trailers stolen. Some happened in day light. I know of robberies on the water at night from talking with victims.
Surely you know why some of the areas have been closed. Drugs, homosexuality etc. The latter might result in a stick up I suppose.
