That is the same case with my frog toggs. Rain is good but sitting in them gets you a wet rear. I do like them and use the as my outer layer over coveralls in the winter kayaking mainly for rain/paddle drip. I add a neoprene pad under the seat to help absorb wet seat butt.

Mine are not new generation they are several years old.
