As for a report I fished the old hickory dam/old hickory lake park area on Tuesday and only got bit once by a small largemouth. There was massive amounts of shad flipping on the surface on the shallow flat but nothing seemed to be pushing them. The consolation price was a few skipjack below the dam as I can't find feeding bass to save my life!

well i have tried the duck river in chapel hill and have not had much luck with catching anything other than fish i didnt want to have on the end of my pole haha. but theres always other places to fish i just havent found the right spot yet or have i tried the buffalo river.
