I run navionics too; but it's much better on a big screen. Transfer to an iPad and your zoom and navigation options are vastly improved.
I also run Raytheon depth finder and the iPad is connected via wifi; so I overlay the chart to the DF and run side-by-side on a bigger screen.
The only downside to the iPad is your headgear . . . polarized lenses are a PITA for viewing and the screen is poor in direct sunlight.
