Me and Chris (txnative) fished the Caney last night from 9 pm or so til 5:30 this morning.
We caught rainbows, browns and walleye by the bunches. My best was only just shy 18" (pic still on my phone) and he had a bow I believe a little bigger (pic on his phone).
Baits used were stick baits and trout mags....plus some I won't disclose.
All caught fish. My brown was on 2lb and the Trout Mag which was a fun fight.
The weather came in spurts but all in all after the tornado on the way in it was more of a calm night than chaotic.
Would you believe we actually had the place to ourselves.
