Old Hickory Lake fishing report 7/1/2015 big fish
Mr. ED and I went back out early this morning to get some fishing in before the rain. I was using a slider jig on 10lb braid and fishing in 4' water catching small bass when I thought I had hung the bottom then it moved. At first I thought it was a BIG turtle then it rolled over and I seen it was a real big fish. Mr. ED netted the fish but couldn't pick it up, then I tried and just did get it over the side of the boat and it was a big carpsucker or a buffalo carp that was 27.59 pounds caught on a little slider jig.
