You will wear those fish out with that machine. 3 years ago the first time I ever fished from a kayak was in a Hobie with a mirage foot Drive system. Spoiled me from the get go. Since then I have I have fished a few times out of middle-of-the-road level kayaks, but there was not much of a comparison especially on lakes and when wind was involved. I have a good friend that lives in Destin and guides out of the Hobies and the new slayer, he works at a dealer down there, he puts many hours in them off shore every week. I think you will enjoy it.
