That reel even sounded bad! Lol
Ive never been a big "gimmick" kinda fisherman. The rods where you ran the line into the blank and out a hole in the tip is a good example. Those kinds of things, while good ideas on paper, never really seem to pan out of the time. Even during the specific times they should be applied.
Ive caught plenty of fish on the flying lure way back when....using it to fish in marinas to get under all the boats....great concept but that thing would foul up if you didnt lay it on the water perfectly. Funny to think back at all the "latest things" to hit this market that never really make it in the long haul. There have been some good ones! The helicopter lure! Lol
