Not sure if lowes or Home Depot may have what's called tubing insulation. Used in the hvac industry to insulate the copper lines in split AC systems. If they don't have any I know of a hvac supply house that would be more than glad to help out. It in most cases is black with a 1/2 or 3/4 thick wall. Comes in 6-ft sections and is pretty cheap.
