Yes its the same Apple Barn. There is also an Orvis shop (building in front of the Apple Barn) that can help out with the current bite.

Yes but some hotels don't allow you to just park. You can find pull off's and it's not too deep to just walk it some though.

Think of it as three fingers sticking out. All are the little Pigeon River and all go the French Broad. The one which runs by the road all through Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is the West. The East comes in by the Airport in Sevierville. The Middle is shorter and doesn't make it down from the mountains as far but is one fun/beautiful trout stream.
