We get together quite often. There are so many of us that like to fish different waters, and for different species so you really have to ask "What's going on?". We have guys that regularly fish Tims, and Woods, guys that make bi-weekly trips to Guntersville, guys that fish Old Hickory, and Priest regularly, guys that fish Dale Hollow, and some guys just stick to the small creek and rivers.

A lot of us go when we get the chance and don't have much heads up due to work and families.

Like this weekend 6 of us have rented a cabin in NE Tennessee, and we're going to hang out and fish for the weekend.

I can see more of these happening, but they will be for a limited number of people. "Not hand chosen, just first come first serve.

jad2t, brought up a good thing. Tennessee Kayak Anglers, this is a group that hosts tournaments locally, they have a forum also.

The next tournament details:
: Sept. 28th 2013

WHERE: Williamsport Lakes Maury County Tennessee (northwest of Columbia)

COST: $20 ENTRY PLUS $5 INSURANCE FEE (There is also a $5 TWRA daily usage fee)

PRIZE: 80% PAYOUT OF ENTRY FEES TO THE TOP TWO SPOTS

BIG FISH: SIDE POT 100% PAYOUT OF $5 BIG FISH ENTRY


LAUNCH: 8:00 AM

WEIGH IN: 2:00 PM (Picnic Shelter on Shellcracker Lake)
