Pretty neat. I'd like to see if it would react well to getting wet.

Another option is to use standard floating lights hooked to a 12v SLA battery. I have used mine to run a green submergible light and they work great. My light draws 1/2 amp/hr, and my batteries ( I have 2) are 7 amp-hour and 8 amp-hour, so I can get up to 16 hrs of use from a single charge.

These batteries weigh a couple of pounds and are sealed, so leaks are not a problem.
