I have a question since you were there on one generator. The water in the pics look somewhat calm. I know where you were and would expect that to be but how much current is it to get there while they are running. Some days I want to try it but since my boat is oar powered do not want to get sucked down stream.
People have always said it was way too rough for a boat without a motor.

You could do it with oars...no problem as long as the sluice is not on. As for the details of the 12 pound trout...it was 12 pounds...maybe a little over but the scales showed 12 pounds.....here is pic. He asked my son to take some pics of the fish and I also took one.
