I went out to Dyers Creek this morning and did some fishing from shore (man oh man, that area looks great, I really need to get me a boat). I did pretty good from shore though; caught largemouth bass, bream and crappie (although the bream and crappie were on the small side) and also this little fellow.

But I have no idea what kind of fish that is...looks like it's a member of the bass family?
Also, note to self: After fishing gear gets packed up, and shipped from Korea to here, it's probably a
really good idea to respool those reels. (I had a good bass on this morning, at least 4 pounds, and it snapped my line right at shore
).
