I picked up some in much shallower water over the weekend - somewhere "in the vicinity" of where you were, but really tight to the bank
. I didn't have quite the numbers, but they were nearly all big slabs and there were lots of white and yellow bass to fill in the gaps.
I think with the weather bouncing back and forth between warm and cold, the crappie are all over the place right now. It's definitely the time to find them though.
