1969 Sear and Roebuck Ted Williams electric trolling motor ... Fully operational after being submerged for a short while about 40 years ago ... Sweet ... This belonged to a customers Dad ... It had some make shift repairs on the mounting bracket ... She wanted me to leave this because this is something Her Dad did ...

TK, I have a very old Johnson 3 horse I believe. Are you interested in it? You probably could just have it. Or how much do you charge to restore?

Mike Sure ,I can always use another 3 HP .. As far as cost for restorations ... There are two types ... Static, non running (LOCKED UP) ... Basically show room to go in a man cave, den, cabin, bar etc ... 75% of my restorations are family member related ... A Dad, Uncle, G-Dad , etc. And usually what $$ is spent to restore them exceeds there market value and some times by 500% ... But they have sentimental value to the owner ...

Cost ... Now this depends on condition, missing parts, and the size and what brand of motor it is ... a 1 1/2 HP verses a 100 HP ..

Static prices , Show Room, can range from $185 to $500.
Full show room operational outboard can run from $300 TO $2500 .

Speaking of 3 HP ... I am now working on 1966 Johnson (fully operational, one pull to start motor) for a customer in Fla. Belonged to a living family member that is going to be given back to him as a Christmas Gift ... When I received it was a basket case .. It was a parts motor ... Missing parts, blown power head etc ... What you see in the pic's are basic lay up for the upper pans, etc ... nothing bolted ... I remove all of this for tank test and break in ... discovered that the fuel tank after paint and Decals had 4 small holes in ... Being a salt motor electrolysis does attack aluminum ..Not rust ... So now I and working on a new tank that is not pictured ... Cost $650 plus S/H ...
