Maples and browns at natchez trace
 

Heading up this weekend for a little john boating action. Anyone fish these recently?

Trying to think of some go to baits. Last year when I went it was a few weeks earlier and a lot cooler. Did ok on crappie but a few weeks later this year.

I'm thinking crappie are probably slow, bluegill are probably on, and bass maybe hitting top water with the recent warm temps?

Went to maple creek lake today ended up with 28 nice bluegill
