ive seen quite a few different videos with different critters snatching fish off a line. Sea Lions, Birds, sharks, killer whales, bears.
ive gotta say, those guys that do that ocean kayak fishing must be a little off kilter to do what they do.
Its a nice summer day, your a few hundreds yards off the beach, lay into a tuna or blue or whatever, fight it, get the boga grips on it and start pulling it into the kayak for observation and pictures, just as the tail is leaving the water WHAM! shark flies up and chomps down on the tail of the fish, your arm, leg, kayak...whatever!
That may happen alot, or it may have never happened, but ive seen some close calls on you tube...enough to make me stay out of salt water in a kayak! LOL
