Bryant Grove Rec Area

I haven't been out on the water since mid October and its driving me crazy. Am thinking about heading out this weekend if the weather isn't too bad. I was looking at my map and am thinking about trying out the Bryant Grove ramp. Can anyone give me some info on this ramp such as is it safe, ramp usable during winter pool, etc?

Better to go to Long Hunter. Steeper ramp, easy on/off with the boat, just across from Bryant's Grove.

Thanks! The reason why I was inquiring about Bryant Grove is because I'd like a ramp as close as possible to the Wildlife Refuge area by Poole Knob. I could launch out of the Poole Knobs ramp, but I just have a small aluminum boat with a transom trolling motor and I'd have to motor around to the other side. That's along ways to go with just a trolling motor. I figured with Bryant Grove, I'd be half way there.

Either launch, it's a long haul with just a trolling motor. You'd be better off driving to Poole's Knob and launching there. If a good headwind comes up, you could be in trouble.

Makes sense. I didn't think about the head wind. Thanks agelessone!
