TVA is doing work on the high tension lines that parallel Hobson Pike Bridge. All boat traffic under the bridge is closed while they are working.
I don't know if this includes nights and weekends while they are not on the clock. There are a line of buoys along both sides of the work area and about 10 TVA boats. I talked to the ranger at Long Hunter this morning and he said they are projecting the project to take 3 weeks. Make plans accordingly!

Also expect delays at the Long Hunter ramp if you get there at the same time as TVA!

They have helicopter parked on the wires too... It's a pretty cool sight..
